“Connecting our souls to the
earth and all of sentient
beings though storytelling and design”

Gina Mae is a graduate of The New York School of Interior Design in 2003 and later completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2022.

A contemporary Haida artist, inventor, sculptor, and designer, Ms. Schubert comes from a strong artistic lineage. Her great-grandfather, Captain Andrew Brown of Old Massett, Haida Gwaii, was a renowned argillite carver and shipbuilder, and many of her relatives are recognized Haida artists.  Ms. Schubert’s work combines artistic storytelling with modern manufacturing techniques.
